In this series, we decided to explore the roasted malt in depth. At the base of our winter porter are 6 different types of barley malt, among which are also types of roasted malt at different levels that give the beer its dark color and a noticeable malty presence alongside flavors of roasting and hints of coffee, caramel, chocolate, and even a little vanilla flavors. The body is full and the mouthfeel is full. To give the beer an additional layer of aroma and taste and to explore in depth the flavors of the roasting, we added cocoa and orange to the beer which emphasize the taste that comes from malting itself.
